What is a GbR? A society under civil law (abbreviated: GbR) also called BGB-Gesellschaft belongs to the partnership and is therefore a trade. The prerequisite for founding a GbR is that at least two shareholders join forces. These two partners do not necessarily have to be natural persons. It is also possible for two legal persons to merge to form a GbR, or a natural and a legal one.
